Ray Scott, a native of Plains, Mont., is a 1958 graduate of Western Montana College with a Bachelor of Science in secondary education with a major in social studies and minors in English and physical education.

Scott was a four-year letterman in basketball and a three-time all-conference selection. He was a member of Bulldog teams that won conference titles, an NAIA district title and made trips NAIA national tournament. 

Scott was the recipient of the Davis Trophy as the Bulldogs’ MVP after his junior season. Also a four-year letterman in track, Scott won the conference  javelin title  three years in a row. 

He was the Bulldog football team manager in his junior and senior seasons. Scott volunteered as a Boy’s State counselor the summer of his junior year. He was active in M-Club and selected to Who’s Who.
