Wally Feldt earned a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Western Montana College in 1973. Wally began what would become a long career in radio and sports writing in Laramie, Wyoming in 1975 and had stints in Las Vegas, Idaho Falls and Boise. In 1988 Wally made it back to Dillon to work for KDBM as program, sports and music director; sales person; and on-air personality.
Wally returned as “Voice of the Bulldogs” during his time at KDBM. Feldt began writing for Montana Western in 1990 as a sports information director and added news and publication duties to his list of responsibilities and held that position until 2009.
Wally has served as the director of media relations for the Frontier Conference since 1993 and currently holds that position today. He can also be heard announcing Bulldog football, volleyball and basketball games.
